Spun from 100% Australian merino wool: fine, crimped, naturally elastic and warm, and soft against the skin. The 26NM/2 mid-count is plump and soft — single-strand at 12G knits full and crisp, doubled at 7G it is thick and lofty without losing shape. The merino colour card covers 120 shades across beige, camel, pink, purple, green, grey, blue and red — shade-stable and quick to replenish, a workhorse yarn for autumn-winter sweaters, scarves, beanies and chunky outerwear.

Washing & Finishing Steps

  1. 1Lot grouping: sort by style number, color number and dye lot, wash same lot together to avoid single-color and shade differences.
  2. 2Water wet cleaning: soak and wash in warm water below 30℃ to remove loose fibers, oil stains and sizing; never use high temperature (Australian wool felts easily at high temperature).
  3. 3Neutral detergent: use wool-specific neutral detergent, wash with gentle squeezing; no prolonged agitation and no alkaline detergents.
  4. 4Softening: add wool-specific softener to restore fluffy hand feel and natural luster.
  5. 5Dewatering and shaping: low-speed short-time dewatering, bag to dewater and prevent creases, avoid wringing hard.
  6. 6Low-temperature drying: tumble dry on low or flat dry, avoid direct sunlight causing yellowing and shrinkage.
  7. 7Steam setting: after putting the garment on a form, steam set once to stabilize size and shape; the woolen surface effect is controlled according to the confirmed sample.
  8. 8Re-ironing and finishing: low-temperature steam light ironing on neckline, placket, hem, cuffs and other parts; no heavy pressing to avoid shine.

  • Ironing: low-temperature steam light ironing with a pressing cloth, no high-temperature dry pressing, to prevent shine and stiff hand feel.
